Name: Phil, aka Some Guy.
Age: 392 in dog years.
Sex: Male.
Marital Status: Divorced.
Employment Status: Product Manager for a software company, health-related. Former quality assurance analyst, software engineer, technical writer and editor. Before that: college. [See Education, below.]
Education: Catholic grade school, Catholic high school (Xavierian Brothers, sorta like Jesuits except capable of being meaner), College (Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art).
Hobbies: Hiking, Painting, Drawing, Photography, Reading, Hangin out with my cat, and, um, Bicycling.
Equipment: 2008 Cannondale Synapse, 2012 Giant Talon 29er 0, Restored 1984 Schwinn Traveler, Converted 1982 Schwinn World, 1999 Easy Racers Tour Easy, two or three old Schwinn frames in the space above the garage, a brand new but too-small-for-me-sized 2008 Schwinn Madison frame, cannibalized to convert the World to a singlespeed/fixed gear bike.
Traipsing Ground: Louisville, Kentucky and its environs, Southern Indiana, and other reachable-in-a-day venues.
Personal Goal: To become a better, more efficient cyclist.
Ambition: To do a bicycle vacation.
Hope: To keep riding until the wheels fall off, figuratively or literally, whichever comes first.

It is merely a centralized place to access my ride logs, as well as various and sundry notes and observations, mostly about riding but maybe other stuff that I wish to document. More than likely it will not be of interest to anyone but me, but as you are here and reading this, I wanted to provide enough information on this page to enable you to get a sense of the person behind the verbiage.
